Born in Nottinghamshire, Joshua started his training locally and then at KSDance. In 2010 Joshua moved to Serbia, continuing his training and joining the Serbian National Theatre. He then moved on to dance for the Serbian National Ballet in Belgrade, and after the Bosnian National Ballet.
After returning home to the UK, Joshua completed his teacher training at The Royal Ballet School on the Diploma for Dance Teaching.
Alongside teaching at on the BA program at Rambert School, he is regularly involved with Rambert School’s short courses and Pre-Vocational program. He is one of Rambert Schools international resident artists teaching and leading on audition panels across Europe and leading on the ballet provision on the schools Paris, Rome and Belgium intensives. He continues to work extensively as a guest teacher, both privately and for programs such as the Royal Ballet School Associates, Midland Theatre Ballet and The National Youth Ballet, as well as at other national and international summer schools, workshops and intensives.
